Tony Chachere's® Creole Style Crawfish Etouffee (Rice Included!) Our Sautéed Crawfish give the Etouffee its Rich Color. The Thick Sauce and Creole Flavor come from chopped vegetables smothered over a low heat in a dark roux.

A thick spicy seafood stew served over white rice. Its rich color and flavor come from finely chopped vegetables smothered over a low heat in a dark smoky ROUX (flour browned in butter).

Directions

MICROWAVE HEATING INSTURCTIONS

  • Remove tray from carton. Cut a slit in center of film
  • Mocrowave on HIGH for 6 minutes. Remove from Microwave and carefully pull back film and stir (Note: Center may be froze). Re-cover and continue cooking on High for an additional 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Carefully remove protective film (CAUTION: Product will be very hot!). Let stand 2 minutes and stir before opening

CONVENTIONAL HEATING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Remove tray from carton. Remove film and recover with aluminum foil.
  • preheat oven to 350 F. Place tray in baking pan and bake for 1 hour.
  • carefully remove tray from oven and remove foil (CAUTION: Product will be very hot!). Let stand 2 minutes and stir before serving.

Due to variations in all microwave ovens and conventional ovens, heating times and/or temperatures may require adjustments. Internal temperatures of product should be 160 F when fully cooked.

SAFE HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS:

This product was prepared from inspected and passed meats.  Some animal products may contain bacteria that could cause ilnessif the product is mishandled or cooked improperly.  For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions.

1. Keep refrigerated or frozen.  Thaw in refigerator or microwave.

2. Cook Throughly

3. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods.  Wash working surface (including cutting oards), untensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry.

4. Keep hot foods hot.  Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.
