Ingredients: Enriched Flour (Wheat Flour Bleached, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Chicken Bouillon (Salt, Hydrolyzed Corn Gluten and Soy Protein, Sugar, Soy Flour, Corn Starch, Chicken Fat, Partially Hydrogenated Cottonseed and Soy Oil, Onion Powder, Chicken Meat, Turmeric, Garlic Powder, Spices, Disodium Inosinate and Guanylate), Silicon Dioxide (to prevent caking).


 



Directions

In a saucepan, whisk 3 table spoons Tony Chachere's White Gravy Mix, 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup milk.  Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.

Reduce heat to a simmer.  Cook about 1 minute, stirring ocassionally or until desired consistency.

  • While cooking, sprinkle and stir to thicken gravies, stews and scauces.

Easy Corn Crab Bisque

1/2 cup Tony Chachere's White Gravy Mix

2 cups milk
2 cups Half-n_Half® (or water)

1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 (15 oz) can cream style corn
2 Tbsp chopped green onions
1/2 Tbsp. Tony Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning
1/2 lb. lump crabmeat (or crawfish)

In a saucepan, whisk Tony Chachere's White Gravy Mix, milk and water.  Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.  Reduce heat to a simmer.  Add butter, corn green onions, Tony Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning and seafood.  Stir gently to combine.  Cook 1 minute.  Yields 4-6 servings.

Buttery White Gravy Add 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
White Roux

1 cup mix to 2 cups water
(same cooking directions)
