Directions
ON THE STOVE
- Bring water to a boil. Add butter or margarine and salt if desired.
- Stir in rice. REDUCE HEAT, coven and simmer on low 20 minutes.
- REMOVE FROM HEAT. Let stand covered 5 minutes
(or until all water is absorbed). Fluff with foil and serve.
IN THE MICROWAVE
- Combine rice and water in a microwave-safe dish. Add butter or margarine and salt if desired.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 5 minutes. Reduce to MEDIUM and cook for 20 minutes.
- Remove from microwave. Let stand covered for 5 minutes (or until all water is absorbed). Fluff with fork and serve.
