I used to for years buy this sauce when it was packaged as and sold as Luzianne BBQ Sauce. I still have some of the original bottles. It is a really good sauce. |

Thank goodness I found a supply for Blue Plate BBQ Sauce. I grew up eating this on bologna sandwiches is it was the absolute best. When I moved up to New Jersey 30+ years ago, I would stock up on Blue Plate when ever I went home. Eventually, it seemed to disappear from stores and I never found any sauce that came even close to replacing it. Imagine my surprise when my sister located this and sent me two gallons for Christmas! This is the only BBQ sauce I've ever found that is fantastic straight out of the bottle on sandwiches (try a grilled chicken sandwich with it!!). My only wish is that it still came premixed in smaller bottles to make it easier to store. Mix this up as indicated on the directions and you have some gooood eating! |

WOW! I haven't had Blue Plate barbecue sauce in over twenty years - I thought they didn't make it anymore. This stuff is the best. And if you mix it just a little sweeter, it tastes just like Dreamland Barbecue's sauce. |
