CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
To
process credit cards we use Authorize.net. We can process
the following types of credit cards: American Express, Visa, Discover/Novus
and Master Card.
CajunSupermarket.com will not bill your credit card for each item until it ships. If items in your order ship at different times or are not shipped, we will bill for the price of the product that shipped.
Debit cards - We do authorize funds from your account as soon as you place an order, which may affect the available funds in debit accounts. With most banks, these authorizations will usually reflect as a "pending" transaction until your order ships and is officially billed.
Card declined, but my bank shows a debit?
Every time that you submit a credit card for a purchase CajunSupermarket.com is verifying your billing address with your bank as well as authorizing funds from your credit card or debit card. Authorizations allow your bank to secure funds for the requested transaction amount. Authorizations are not charges or debits to your credit card or debit card. Your credit card or debit card will be debited upon shipment of product and or purchase of an e-GiftCard. If you receive a "Credit Card Declinedr" message, CajunSupermarket.com will not return the authorization number to your bank and your credit card or debit card will not be debited.
In other words, if the transaction has been denied, your credit card or debit card will not be debited, however your bank may have set funds aside during the authorization request. Banks will release an authorization between 3 and 30 business days and they set their own policies. CajunSupermarket.com has no control over how long your bank may hold your funds. Should you have any questions regarding authorizations, please contact your bank.
